Anders Blume believes Cache is currently in a unique stage where the map’s tactical meta is still undeveloped. By analyzing professional demos, he noticed that almost every team uses the same early A-site flashbangs for rushes, while very few have reliable utility for mid-round or late-round executes.
Using several examples, Anders explains why many of today’s flashbangs fail to blind key defensive positions. He demonstrates alternative grenade trajectories that could be far more effective and argues that precise utility will become increasingly important as teams gain more experience on the map.

His main prediction is that Cache will look very different within a few months. As coaches and players develop better grenade lineups, late-round executions will become much stronger, fundamentally changing how teams attack the A bombsite and pushing the map’s tactical depth to a new level.
