BC.Game have officially completed the signing of Emil “Magisk” Reif, confirming the four-time Major champion as the team’s new in-game leader. The Danish veteran becomes the latest high-profile addition to the organization’s ambitious Counter-Strike project and will now captain a roster featuring Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, and Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold.
Magisk takes over the captaincy

The announcement ends weeks of speculation surrounding BC.Game’s leadership role. Magisk joins the lineup after spending the first half of 2026 without a team following his departure from Astralis at the end of 2025.
One of the most decorated players in Counter-Strike history, Magisk won three Majors with Astralis between 2018 and 2019 before adding a fourth title with Vitality at the BLAST Paris Major 2023. After joining Falcons in 2024, he remained with the organization until September 2025.
Although primarily known as one of the game’s greatest anchor players, Magisk also has previous experience calling during his stint as Astralis’ in-game leader in 2020. BC.Game will now rely on that experience as the organization enters the new season with one roster spot still left to fill.
The organization welcomed its new captain with a tribute to his legendary career, writing:
One of the greatest to ever touch the game. An unbroken Major streak, 4 Major titles… And now he’s here to captain us to our first. Welcome to our new IGL, @MagiskCS.

One signing away from a complete roster
Magisk becomes BC.Game’s fourth confirmed player following the permanent acquisition of Senzu earlier this week. The current lineup now consists of:
- Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev
- Denis “electroNic” Sharipov
- Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold
- Emil “Magisk” Reif
- Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas (coach)
With only one player still missing, the organization is expected to complete the roster in the coming days.
Community reacts with excitement and jokes

The announcement quickly generated thousands of reactions across social media. Many fans praised BC.Game for assembling a lineup full of legendary names, while others joked that the organization is building a “superteam” one Major winner at a time.
HEROIC humorously commented:
Top 40 team for sure
BC.Game immediately fired back:
Only top 40?!
Another playful exchange followed after users pointed out that the roster now features four Major champions. Tradeit asked:
BRO 7 MAJORS TOTAL?
BC.Game replied:
And we haven’t even signed a 5th yet
Not everyone was convinced. Some fans questioned whether Magisk is the right long-term in-game leader and argued the team should invest in younger talent instead of experienced veterans. Others expressed optimism, saying Magisk’s leadership and championship pedigree could help unlock the full potential of stars like s1mple and electroNic.
Several users also speculated about the identity of BC.Game’s fifth player, with the organization teasing supporters by replying to one comment simply:
Tomorrow
This fueled even more discussion as fans continue to guess who will complete one of Counter-Strike’s most anticipated new rosters.
What’s next for BC.Game?
BC.Game’s roster rebuild is now entering its final stage. With Magisk officially taking over the captaincy and only one position remaining vacant, all attention shifts to the organization’s next announcement. The club has already hinted that the final signing will be revealed soon, leaving fans eager to discover who will complete the lineup alongside s1mple, electroNic, Senzu, and Magisk ahead of the new competitive season.
