BetBoom Team have officially confirmed their roster for IEM Cologne Major 2026. However, the team will not start the tournament with its full lineup. Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin will miss the opening matches in Cologne, forcing BetBoom to field a stand-in during the first stage of one of the year’s most prestigious events.

BetBoom Reveal Their Starting Lineup for IEM Cologne Major 2026

BetBoom shared the announcement on social media and revealed the five players already in Cologne. The lineup features Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov, Aleksandr “Magnojez” Kuskov, Vladislav “FL4MUS” Ignatyev, Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko, and Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov. d1Ledez will temporarily replace S1ren in the opening matches.

The organization also confirmed that S1ren will join the squad later in the tournament. BetBoom did not explain the reason behind his delayed arrival. The news immediately caught the attention of fans because the team is about to begin its campaign at one of the biggest events of the season.

BetBoom Start Their Cologne Run Against Gaimin Gladiators

The timing of the announcement makes the situation even more interesting. BetBoom will face Gaimin Gladiators in the opening round of Stage 1. The match will use a best-of-one format, leaving little room for mistakes.

BetBoom enter Cologne as the world’s No. 17 team. Gaimin Gladiators sit much lower in the rankings and arrive as clear underdogs. Even so, playing with a stand-in adds uncertainty, especially when a single map decides the result.

The opening match will also put extra focus on Magnojez. The rifler has been one of BetBoom’s most reliable players in recent months. Over the last three months, he has recorded a 1.22 HLTV rating and remains one of the team’s main win conditions.

Community Awaits S1ren’s Return

The roster update quickly sparked discussion across social media. Many fans were surprised to see d1Ledez in the starting lineup. Others focused on BetBoom’s statement that S1ren would join later and began speculating about his arrival date.

Despite the unexpected setback, expectations around BetBoom remain high. The team has shown steady progress throughout 2026. Cologne offers a chance to earn valuable VRS points and potentially reach the later stages of the tournament.

For now, all eyes are on the opening match against Gaimin Gladiators. BetBoom must begin their IEM Cologne Major 2026 campaign without one of their core players and prove they can overcome the challenge.
