The path to the professional scene is often accompanied not only by victories but also by suspicion from opponents. Among players from teams in the VRS top 10, a ranking was compiled of those who received the most reports on FACEIT throughout their careers, and the gap between first place and the rest turned out to be enormous.
donk is far ahead
donk took first place with 1,662 career reports. This is more than twice the number received by his closest challenger, kyousuke, who accumulated 801 reports.
This figure clearly demonstrates how quickly a talented young player can attract attention in matchmaking. Especially when their mechanical skill is noticeably higher than that of their opponents, some players may perceive exceptionally strong performances as suspicious.
kyousuke also received more than 800 reports
kyousuke took second place with 801 reports. His total is also very high, although even that figure is less than half of donk’s.
Interestingly, both players had already established reputations as exceptionally strong individual performers before fully breaking through at the biggest tournaments. Therefore, the large number of reports in their cases may reflect not rule violations, but rather how unusual their dominance over opponents appeared during the early stages of their careers.
cmtry, krabeni, and molodoy completed the top five
Third place went to cmtry, who received 566 reports throughout his career. He was followed by krabeni with 522 reports and molodoy with 437.
The difference between third and fifth place is much smaller than the gap separating the leader from the rest of the ranking. All three players fall within a similar range, while donk effectively occupies a category of his own in terms of the number of reports received.
A report does not mean cheating
An important point about these statistics is that the number of reports is not evidence of cheating or smurfing. It is simply the number of complaints that other users submitted against a player’s account throughout their career.
That is why these figures are better understood as an indication of how often professional players appeared suspicious to their opponents. Strong aim, unconventional decisions, or a significant skill gap can easily trigger reports even when no rules have been broken.
The path to the top level often begins with suspicion
This is the most interesting aspect of the ranking. Today, these players compete for teams near the top of the VRS standings, participate in the biggest LAN tournaments, and already have significant achievements, but in the past, some of their opponents may simply have struggled to believe that such a level of play was possible.
The statistics therefore demonstrate how difficult it can sometimes be to distinguish a future top professional from an exceptionally skilled matchmaking player. This effect was particularly noticeable for donk — his 1,662 reports leave him as the undisputed leader of the list.
The most reported professional players
The final top five are as follows:
- donk — 1,662 reports,
- kyousuke — 801,
- cmtry — 566,
- krabeni — 522,
- molodoy — 437.
All these figures refer specifically to reports received throughout their careers on FACEIT.
The main conclusion is not that any of these players should be considered rulebreakers. On the contrary, the ranking demonstrates something else: even before reaching the biggest stages, the strongest players often stand out so dramatically against their opponents that their performances begin to seem abnormal.
