ECSTATIC have officially released their entire Counter-Strike 2 roster, making all five players free agents. The Danish organization announced the decision on November 8, confirming that it will take time to evaluate its options before deciding on the future of its CS2 division.
The decision comes less than two months after ECSTATIC introduced a rebuilt lineup in September. The roster competed in several domestic tournaments, including POWER Ligaen Season 33, but did not record a single official match together on HLTV.
ECSTATIC release all five players
ECSTATIC confirmed the departure of the entire starting lineup through an official statement on X. The organization did not provide a specific reason for the decision or announce any replacements.

The five players released by ECSTATIC are:

- Emil “Mol011” Sall Würtz
- Rasmus “Skejs” Gleerup
- Luca “Z1noz” Stibolt Jensen
- Thomas “Thom” Hedemann
UPDATE 🚨
Our current CS2 roster has been released and the players are now free agents
We are going to take some time to properly weigh our options before deciding on the next steps for ECSTATIC
A big thank you to our players and supporters 🙏

The organization also thanked the players and supporters for their contributions. However, it did not confirm whether it intends to sign another roster or temporarily suspend its Counter-Strike operations.
ECSTATIC struggled to establish their rebuilt lineup
The released roster was the result of several changes made during the second half of 2026. In September, ECSTATIC introduced a new lineup built around Martin “nut nut” Holm Vestergaard, who remained from the previous project.
However, nut nut departed for OG in early October, forcing the organization to make another adjustment. ECSTATIC signed Mol011 from Sashi Academy to fill the vacant position, with the Danish player taking over in-game leadership responsibilities.
The team continued competing in domestic tournaments but struggled to establish consistent results. In POWER Ligaen Season 33, ECSTATIC occupied sixth place with 12 points after 12 matches, sitting outside the four playoff positions.
Despite participating in domestic competitions, the lineup did not play a match recorded on HLTV before the organization announced its release.
Future of ECSTATIC remains uncertain
ECSTATIC have not announced their next steps following the departure of the five players. In the official statement, the organization explained that it will evaluate the available options before making further decisions.
We are going to take some time to properly weigh our options before deciding on the next steps for ECSTATIC.
The announcement follows several roster rebuilds during 2026, including the departures of players such as Christian “Buzz” Andersen and Anton “Anlelele” Huynh earlier in the year.
For now, Inspire, Mol011, Skejs, Z1noz and Thom are available as free agents. ECSTATIC have not confirmed when or whether a new Counter-Strike lineup will be presented.
