The esports organization ENCE has announced the beginning of a new stage of development, during which the team plans to completely relaunch its CS2 project.
The organization has decided to change its strategy and focus on Finnish players in order to build a new long-term structure around national talent.
Why ENCE is changing direction
In its statement, the organization explained that the modern esports ecosystem is making participation in top-tier Counter-Strike increasingly difficult for mid-sized organizations.
ENCE noted that in recent years it had actively invested in international rosters, but the current conditions on the scene forced the club to reconsider its approach.
Instead of continuing down the same path, we decided to reset and build something new with a long-term perspective.
That is why the organization has decided to return to its primary market — Finland — where it plans to develop a new generation of players.

Current roster moved to the bench
As part of the restructuring, the main CS2 roster along with the coaching staff has been moved to the bench.
The players and coaches are now available for transfer negotiations, as the club plans to build a new roster from scratch.
Focus on a new generation of Finnish talent
ENCE’s main goal is to create a team where Finnish players will become the foundation of the project.
The organization states that it wants to:
- develop young Finnish talents
- bring Finnish Counter-Strike back to the international stage
- create a long-term and stable team structure
The club also emphasized that this approach will strengthen the connection between ENCE and the Finnish CS community.
What will happen to the academy
Despite the large-scale changes, the organization’s youth programs will continue to operate.
- ENCE Academy will continue functioning without changes.
- ENCE Prospects will compete in the Finnish youth league NUKE-Liiga Season 2, which starts on March 18.

What’s next for ENCE
The organization stated that this is only the beginning of a new strategy. In the near future, the club will present further steps regarding the formation of a new roster and the development of its CS project.
ENCE also notes that the reset is intended to help create a new era of Finnish Counter-Strike, which they symbolically describe as a continuation of the legendary movement #EZ4ENCE.
