The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has concluded its investigation into Team SENZA (also known as -72C / ROSY) in relation to matches played during CCT Season 3 Europe in June 2025. As a result, six participants have been sanctioned, while the organization itself has received a financial penalty.
Cheating Violation: Account Sharing and Identity Misconduct
The central finding of the investigation concerns Kirsan “byek” Ivanov, who was found guilty of account-sharing and identity-related cheating misconduct.
According to ESIC, the account used under the name “byek”:
- was not consistently controlled by a single individual
- showed irregular performance and connection patterns
- indicated possible mid-series account handoffs
Notably, this violation was confirmed through a written admission by the organization. Such actions directly breach a fundamental integrity rule — the registered player must be the one actually competing.
Sanction: byek has been banned for 2 years, from April 7, 2026 to April 6, 2028.

Widespread Non-Cooperation with Investigation
Another major issue highlighted by ESIC was the lack of cooperation from multiple players during the investigation into matches played on June 6 and 8, 2025. The commission issued formal requests for:
- evidence submission
- responses to official inquiries
- data preservation
However, most participants failed to respond or provided only limited information, preventing a full assessment of the case.
Sanctioned players:
- Petr “timeagento” Markheev
- Spiridon “spira” Popov
- Vladislav “malenta” Lazarev
- Stepan “borosto” Antonov
- Aleksandr “1nhuman” Reshetnikov
Penalty: 12-month bans (April 7, 2026 – April 6, 2027)
Importantly, ESIC clarified that these sanctions do not represent confirmed match-fixing or cheating, but are solely related to non-cooperation.
Additional Case: timeagento Faces Ban Until 2031
The situation for timeagento is more severe. He had previously received a 5-year ban in a separate case under the alias “Damiel.” This new sanction:
- adds to the previous one
- extends his total ban period until March 19, 2031
This makes it one of the longest active bans among players in similar cases.
Organizational Penalty for Team SENZA
- ESIC also determined that the organization itself:
- failed to respond properly to formal requests
- did not provide required materials
- failed to preserve key evidence (communications, devices, roster data)
- did not submit its own internal investigation
Sanction: A $20,000 fine, which must be:
- paid as a charitable donation
- approved by ESIC
Until proof of payment is submitted and accepted, the team will not be allowed to compete in ESIC member events.

ESIC: Strict Punishment for Integrity Breaches
This case once again highlights ESIC’s strict stance on:
- account sharing and identity violations
- failure to cooperate with investigations
Even without confirmed match-fixing, the lack of transparency alone is treated as a serious offense. For the competitive scene, the message is clear: attempts to avoid scrutiny or withhold information can lead to severe consequences — just as serious as the violations themselves.
