Falcons reached the semi-final after victories over M80, Legacy, and BC.Game during the tournament. In the playoffs, they first survived a dramatic overtime series against FURIA before defeating MOUZ to secure a place in the grand final.
MOUZ had a much harder route through the event. After an early loss to TYLOO, they dropped into the lower bracket and fought back with consecutive wins over NRG, M80, paiN, and B8. However, their lower-bracket run ended after the 1-2 defeat against Falcons in the semi-final.

MOUZ dominate Mirage to open the series

The series started on Mirage, where MOUZ completely controlled the pace of the game. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi and Adrian “xeleX” Vincze repeatedly punished Falcons’ defensive setups, while Dorian “xertioN” Berman constantly created opening advantages around mid control.
Falcons looked uncomfortable throughout the map and struggled to find consistency on the CT side. MOUZ comfortably secured Mirage 13-7 and immediately put pressure on Falcons heading into map two.
Falcons respond confidently on Dust2
Dust2 completely shifted the momentum of the series. Falcons looked far sharper from the opening rounds and constantly shut down MOUZ’s attempts to control the map early.
Nikola “NiKo” Kovač delivered several crucial multi-kill rounds, while Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin repeatedly opened bombsites during the T side. Falcons quickly built a large lead and never allowed MOUZ back into the game. The European squad closed Dust2 13-7 to equalize the series.
Falcons survive close decider on Nuke

Nuke became the most competitive map of the series. Both teams traded rounds during the first half, but Falcons eventually gained control thanks to stronger late-round execution and more stable defensive setups.
MOUZ attempted several comeback rounds behind xeleX and torzsi, but Falcons consistently won the critical clutch situations late in the game. NiKo and TeSeS secured multiple important rounds during the second half, allowing Falcons to close Nuke 13-10 and secure the series 2-1.

NiKo becomes the difference-maker
Nikola “NiKo” Kovač finished as the best player of the series with a 1.42 rating and 88.5 ADR. kyousuke also played a major role in the victory with several impactful entries across Dust2 and Nuke. For MOUZ, xeleX remained their strongest player with a 1.19 rating, while torzsi also delivered several important rounds despite the elimination.

After the loss, Dorian “xertioN” Berman admitted on X that MOUZ came extremely close to forcing a different result:
Fuck man so close 1-2 Falcons, GGWP and gl in the finals! I could have called better today and I didn’t.
Finn “karrigan” Andersen also reacted after the victory and praised his team’s recovery following the poor Mirage performance:
2-1 MOUZ, we stepped up massively after lackluster Mirage. Grand finals tomorrow.
VRS impact after the match
The result also affected the Valve Regional Standings:
- Falcons: +18 points → 1965 VRS points
- MOUZ: -14 points → 1888 VRS points
