Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo has criticized ESL over the lack of transportation support for FURIA following their late arrival in China ahead of IEM Beijing 2026. The team captain published a post on X on November 1, expressing frustration with the reception at approximately 11 PM local time.
The complaint came just one day after FURIA defeated Nemiga 3:2 in the Grand Final of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. The team had to travel from Romania to China ahead of their opening match against FaZe on November 2.
FalleN questions ESL over arrival arrangements
FalleN publicly addressed the tournament organizer on X, criticizing the lack of assistance after the team arrived in China late at night.
Well done @ESLCS no support to get to the tournament 11pm in China – amazing reception

The message came during a demanding period for FURIA, who had just completed a five-map Grand Final in Bucharest before traveling to Beijing.
According to the official ESL schedule, October 31 was designated as the arrival date for participating teams, with media activities scheduled for November 1 and competition beginning on November 2.
YEKINDAR also complains about missing airport shuttle
Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis also discussed the situation after arriving in China. According to Cybersport.ru, the FURIA rifler said that no shuttle or organized transportation was waiting for the team at the airport.
YEKINDAR initially estimated that the drive to the hotel would take approximately 90 minutes, potentially leaving the players with limited rest before their scheduled media activities and opening match.
He later clarified that the hotel was only about 15 minutes away, correcting his earlier estimate. However, his complaints about the lack of transportation support and the tournament schedule remained.
The situation raised concerns among the players about the arrangements following their long-distance journey from Romania.
FURIA face FaZe in their opening match
FURIA will begin their IEM Beijing 2026 campaign against FaZe on November 2 at 08:00 CET. The best-of-three series is part of the Group A upper-bracket opening round.
The team enter the event after winning two consecutive tournaments, Thunderpick World Championship 2026 and PGL Masters Bucharest 2026.
IEM Beijing 2026 takes place from November 2 to 8, featuring 16 teams competing for $1,250,000 in total winnings. The six best teams from the group stage will advance to the playoffs.
Despite the travel difficulties described by FalleN and YEKINDAR, FURIA are scheduled to begin their campaign against FaZe on Monday.
