FURIA have knocked MIBR out of the upper bracket at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026. The all-Brazilian showdown ended 2-1 in FURIA’s favor on 17th of September 2026, sending them straight into the semifinal.
This result matters because it sets up two very different paths. FURIA now move on to face Vitality, one of the strongest teams in the tournament. MIBR, on the other hand, drop into the lower bracket, where they will need to beat magic just to stay alive in the event.
Three Maps, One Winner
The series opened on Inferno, MIBR’s pick. FURIA started strong in the first half, leading 7-5. However, MIBR turned things around after the side switch, winning the second half 8-4 to close out the map 13-11. This gave MIBR an early 1-0 lead in the series.
FURIA responded on their own pick, Nuke. They took the first half 7-5 and then dominated the second half, winning it 6-1. The map finished 13-6 in FURIA’s favor, leveling the series at 1-1 and setting up a decider on Cache.
Cache followed the same pattern as Nuke. FURIA again won the first half 7-5, then closed out the second half 6-1. The final score was 13-6, giving FURIA the map and the series victory. In addition, this map win confirmed FURIA’s spot in the semifinal.
MVP of the Match
Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato was the standout performer of the series. He finished with a 51-36 kill-death record, an ADR of 84.0, a KAST of 80.6%, and a rating of 1.30, the highest of any player in the match. Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis also had a strong showing for FURIA, posting a 51-39 record and an 82.1 ADR for a 1.13 rating. Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and Yuri “yuurih” Santos rounded out FURIA’s positive performances with ratings of 1.24 and 1.14, respectively. Meanwhile, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo finished below a 1.00 rating at 0.92.
For MIBR, Felipe “insani” Yuji was the top performer despite the loss. He recorded a 54-46 kill-death ratio, an ADR of 89.5, and a rating of 1.21. Tomas “tomaszin” Corna followed with a 1.01 rating. The rest of the MIBR lineup struggled: Lucas “nqz” Soares finished at 0.81, Linus “LNZ” Holtäng at 0.77, and Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo at 0.76.

VRS Changes for Both Teams
The result also affected both teams’ standing in the VRS system. FURIA entered the match with 1758 points at rank #8. They gained 17 points for the win, bringing their total to 1775 points while holding onto rank #8.
MIBR, meanwhile, entered with 1511 points at rank #14. The loss cost them 10 points, dropping their total to 1501 points. Their rank stayed at #14 despite the point loss.
What Comes Next
FURIA’s win keeps their tournament run alive in the upper bracket, where they will now face Vitality in the semifinal. This is a significant step up in competition, and it will test how well FURIA’s map pool holds up against one of the event’s top contenders.
MIBR, however, are not out of the tournament yet. They move to the lower bracket, where they are set to play against magic. A win there would keep their StarSeries Fall 2026 campaign going, while a loss would end their run. Therefore, this lower bracket match becomes a must-win for MIBR if they want to stay in contention.
