FURIA defeated GamerLegion 2:1 in the Group B upper bracket quarter-final at FISSURE Playground 3 and advanced to the upper semi-finals. The September 8 series in Suzhou went to all three maps, with GamerLegion dropping into the lower bracket.
GamerLegion fielded assistant coach Denis “Grashog” Hristov as a stand-in. Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski missed the opener due to travel complications.
FURIA recovered after a narrow Cache loss

GamerLegion built an 11:1 lead on Cache before FURIA threatened a comeback. FURIA took ten of the twelve rounds after halftime, but GamerLegion held on to win their pick 13:11.
FURIA also trailed at halftime on Mirage, this time 5:7. They won the second half 8:3 to take their own pick 13:10 and force a third map.
Dust2 was much more one-sided. FURIA led 11:1 at the break, and a 2:2 split after the side switch was enough to close the decider 13:3.

GamerLegion will meet TYLOO in the first lower bracket round on September 9 at 10:00 CET. A win will keep GamerLegion in the tournament; another defeat will end their run.
