Bruno “latto” Rebelatto called the FISSURE Playground 3 Grand Final against G2 the best performance of his career in an interview with HLTV. The Legacy rifler also spoke about the team success in China, the importance of mental preparation, the impact of Santino “try” Rigal and his goal of reaching the HLTV Top 20.
HIS BEST PERFORMANCE CAME IN A GRAND FINAL
Legacy defeated G2 3:0 in the Grand Final to win their third trophy in China. latto once again played a key role and received another MVP award on Chinese soil.
Earlier in 2026, he described his performance against The MongolZ in the CAC Semi-final as one of the three best of his career. This time, he placed the series against G2 above all of them.
I think it’s number one because it’s a grand final. So yeah, I think it’s my best performance.
The title continued a remarkable run for Legacy in China. The team have now won all three tournaments they have played in the country, while latto received the MVP award at each of them.
“IT’S CHINA MAGIC”
Asked why both he and Legacy consistently perform so well in China, latto pointed to the atmosphere and support from the local crowd.
I don’t know. I think the crowd cheering for us is so exciting. Having everybody cheering for us is very good. I don’t know; it’s China magic, I think. It’s really different. We play very well here.
Legacy previously won CS Asia Championships 2025 and CS Asia Championships 2026 before adding FISSURE Playground 3 to their collection.
MENTAL WORK HELPED LEGACY SURVIVE MIBR
latto also highlighted the work Legacy have done on the mental side with BobZ, adrrr and Andrei “arT” Piovezan.
He believes that preparation played an important role in the difficult Semi-final against MIBR, which Legacy eventually won 2:1 after a 16:14 overtime victory on Inferno.
I think they’ve helped me a lot, and helped the team as well. We had a very tough game against MIBR, and if we hadn’t worked on those things with them, maybe we would have lost the map and gone home.
So I think we’ve improved a lot, and they’re still working on this with us. I think it’s working.
TRY BROUGHT MORE CONSISTENCY
latto also spoke about reuniting with try alongside Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer. The trio previously played together at 00NATION, but latto believes all three are now much more experienced players.
For the current Legacy roster, he singled out the consistency of try as an important factor.
try joined the team, and I think that changed a lot of our game. He’s so consistent in his job in the game. This has helped us become a more consistent team, and that’s the key.
TOP 20 REMAINS A DREAM
latto finished 30th in the HLTV ranking last year. With two MVP medals and two EVP awards already in 2026, he now hopes to reach the Top 20 for the first time.
For me, it’s a dream to be in the top 20 players in the world. Last year, it was a surprise for me to be in the top 30. I just told myself that I needed to keep the same mentality, keep growing in the game, and I would reach the top 20.
He also stressed that any individual achievement would be closely connected to the work of his teammates.
