After a tough opening match, mzinHo reflected on the team’s overtime collapse, communication issues, the impact of role changes, and what must improve ahead of their next Major game. In this exclusive interview, he explains why “we choked a lot of rounds,” how the stand-in is adapting, and which adjustments will define their chances moving forward.
How did you prepare for this tournament?
We had a bootcamp in Serbia for nine days. This bootcamp fixed a lot in team communication and understanding each other. Things are getting better in our approach.
How did you integrate controlez into your roster as a new player?
He is a three-tournament stand-in, and he’s doing good.
Did his role change in?
Yeah, there were many changes for him. Some roles he plays now, like the anchor, he had never played before. So we had a lot of adjustments.
Do you think controlez boosts your team right now?, or is the team staying balanced?
Yeah, I think it’s fine.
Why couldn’t you finish the game in regulation and had to go to overtime?
I think we choked a lot of rounds. We lost 3v1s, and I misunderstood some info and died with no information. So yeah, we choked a lot.

What should you change before the next match?
