FACEIT has published the results of a comprehensive review of Nocries, who recently climbed to the top of the Elo rankings in North America.

RAPID RISE AND COMMUNITY DOUBTS

Nocries became one of the most talked-about players of August–September 2025. His quick climb to the #1 spot in the North American FACEIT rankings raised a wave of questions from the community and professional club representatives. The main doubts centered around a new profile, sudden changes in geolocation, and gameplay that suddenly reached the highest level.

FACEIT launched a formal investigation to check:

  • whether the account was linked to multi-accounting or boosting,
  • whether the player used third-party software,
  • whether his game history matched the declared data.

THREE STAGES OF THE REVIEW

  1. Initial audit
FACEIT analysts checked Nocries’ account activity over the past several years. The Anti-Cheat system detected no violations, and there were no records of bans or integrity-related sanctions on the platform.
  2. Local monitored matches
From September 23–25, Nocries arrived at the FACEIT office in New York, where he played nine monitored matches on the platform’s equipment. His statistics and mechanics fully matched his previous online results. Moreover, he once again reached Rank #1 in North America and was the top performer in his debut match in FPL.
  3. Background check
On September 16, an interview was conducted with the player to confirm his identity and account history.
  • His current Steam profile has existed since 2021, with over 5,800 hours logged in CS.
  • He previously owned several other accounts that he used with friends and family.
  • His relocation to the United States in 2024 was documented, explaining the change in IP addresses and the use of a VPN.
  • Between 2020 and 2022, Nocries actively played VALORANT, where he reached the highest rank, Radiant.

REVIEW PASSED – CAREER OPENED

FACEIT officially confirmed:

  • no evidence of cheating, smurfing, or multi-accounting,
  • the player’s identity has been verified,
  • suspicious activity (VPN, location changes) was explained and documented.

As a result, Nocries has received a permanent invitation to FPL, where he can now compete against the world’s top players.

NEW PROTOCOL FOR TOP-LEVEL PLAYERS

FACEIT stated that this case will serve as the starting point for a new verification protocol for high-level players. This will help prevent similar speculation in the future and improve transparency in matchmaking and tournaments.

In an interview, Nocries noted that his main goal is to join a professional team and compete on the LAN stage. Now, after the official confirmation of his integrity, these ambitions look much more realistic.
