A new transfer rumor is shaking the CS2 scene. According to French insider KRL, m0NESY may leave Falcons soon, because a tier 1 organization is already in advanced talks with the star sniper.
This story matters because m0NESY is one of the main players on the Saudi roster. His exit would change one of the most talked-about lineups in CS2. However, the report is still a rumor, so fans should wait for an official statement.
How m0NESY Became a Falcons Star
m0NESY joined Falcons in April 2025 from G2 Esports. He replaced Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov as the team’s AWPer and reunited with his former G2 teammate NiKo. The move came shortly after Falcons beat m0NESY and G2 in the PGL Bucharest 2025 grand final on 13 April.
Since then, the roster has changed. In April 2026, Falcons signed Finn “karrigan” Andersen as their in-game leader. He replaced Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski, who moved to the bench. As a result, the current lineup includes karrigan, NiKo, m0NESY, René “TeSeS” Madsen and Maxim “kyousuke” Lukin. Danny “zonic” Sørensen remains the head coach.
What the Insider Says About the Talks
KRL shared the news on social media. He wrote: “Sources: A tier 1 organization is making a strong push to secure m0NESY. Talks with Falcons are at an advanced stage. An announcement is expected soon.”
The insider did not name the interested team. In addition, there is no official confirmation from any side. Therefore, the story remains a rumor for now.
Why the Timing Is Surprising
Meanwhile, m0NESY has just enjoyed one of the best periods of his time at Falcons. The team won IEM Cologne Major 2026 on 21 June 2026, and m0NESY was named tournament MVP. For this reason, any move away from the roster would be a big surprise for fans.
What Happens Next
If KRL is right, Falcons will lose their star sniper only months after a Major title. Moreover, the unnamed tier 1 organization would gain one of the most valued players in the game. Finally, an announcement is expected soon, so the CS2 community will likely get a clear answer in the near future.
