StarLadder has announced the return of StarSeries, with its nineteenth season set to be a key stage on the road to the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. The tournament will feature eight teams and a total prize pool of $500,000.
Tournament Format
- European Online Qualifier:
Scheduled for August 13–17. Sixteen top teams according to the EU VRS ranking will compete for four spots in the LAN playoffs.
- LAN Playoffs in Budapest:
Set to take place from September 18 to 21. Four teams from the European qualifier will be joined by four invited teams based on the Global VRS ranking.

Prize Pool Distribution
- 1st place — $200,000
- 2nd place — $130,000
- 3rd place — $70,000
- 4th place — $40,000
- 5th–6th places — $20,000
- 7th–8th places — $10,000
In addition to cash prizes, teams will earn valuable VRS points that will play a key role in qualifying for the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.

About the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025
The second CS2 Major of 2025 will take place from November 24 to December 14 in Budapest. Organized by StarLadder with the support of Valve, the event will feature 32 teams qualifying through a series of regional rankings and tournaments. At stake will be the title of CS2 world champion and a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
