Romanian tournament organizer Digital Crusade has announced the biggest DraculaN event in the tournament’s history. The upcoming “Super DraculaN” will feature a $150,000 prize pool and bring 16 Counter-Strike 2 teams to Bucharest shortly after the Cologne Major. The event will run from June 23–28 at the Respawn x Halo Events Center in Bucharest. The final two playoff days on June 27–28 will be open to the public. Organizers say Super DraculaN will become the largest LAN event ever hosted under the DraculaN brand.
Super DraculaN Continues To Grow
DraculaN has become one of the most talked-about independent CS2 tournaments in Eastern Europe. Previous editions already featured several well-known teams, but the new season marks a major step forward for the event.
The April edition included teams like FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Aurora Gaming, and M80. M80 eventually won the tournament shortly before the Major invite deadline.
Now the organizers are increasing both the scale and importance of the competition. The $150,000 prize pool places Super DraculaN among the biggest non-partnered CS2 tournaments of the summer.
VRS Points Could Play A Huge Role
One major reason for the community hype is the timing of the event. Super DraculaN will happen during the traditional player break period, when many teams normally rest after the Major.
Still, the current Valve Regional Standings system gives LAN events extra importance. Teams can earn valuable VRS points that help future invitations and rankings. Because of this, many organizations may still decide to attend. Other events, including XSE Pro League and Stake Ranked Episode 3, are also scheduled during the same offseason period. Many fans already expect a very busy summer schedule in CS2.
Playoffs Open To Fans
Digital Crusade also confirmed that fans will attend the final playoff weekend inside the Halo Events Center. The teaser for the event stated:
6 nights. 16 teams. Only 1 will rise to victory.
The organizers have already started ticket sales for the finals weekend in Bucharest. More invited teams should appear closer to the start of the tournament. For the Romanian CS2 scene, Super DraculaN could become one of the biggest local esports events in recent years.
Community Reaction
The announcement quickly created huge discussion across the CS2 community. Many fans were surprised by the $150,000 prize pool and started joking about DraculaN becoming a future Major event. One popular HLTV comment said:
2028 DraculaN Major
Another user added:
Hosted in Bran Castle
Fans also began speculating about the invited teams. Since the tournament starts right after the Cologne Major, many believe teams eliminated early could join Super DraculaN for extra VRS points.
Some users criticized the timing during the player break. Others pointed out that the VRS system already rewards teams for attending additional events. Romanian fans also noticed similarities between the “Super DraculaN” branding and Superbet. That quickly created speculation about a possible sponsorship connection behind the event.
