Zolbayar “tikuak” Chimedtseren has returned to Chinggis Warriors after just two months with The MongolZ. The 17-year-old rifler moved from the bench of one of Mongolia’s top rosters back to the team where he first made his name.
This move matters because it closes a short and difficult chapter for a young player once tipped as a rising talent. Tikuak had built his reputation at Chinggis Warriors before The MongolZ gave him a chance on the biggest regional stage. However, that chance did not go as planned, and his rapid return highlights how quickly fortunes can shift for young CS2 players moving between top-tier and academy-level rosters.
From Chinggis Warriors to The MongolZ and Back
Tikuak first joined Chinggis Warriors on loan from The MongolZ Academy back in October 2025. While there, he impressed regularly against regional opposition and earned repeated mentions in the HLTV Prospects rankings. One standout performance came in the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4, where he posted a team-leading 1.21 rating in a loss to TYLOO.
That form caught The MongolZ’s attention. On July 12, 2026, the organization added tikuak and Dugarsuren “DarkMeister” Ireedui to their active lineup, filling the gaps left by Ayush “mzinho” Batbold’s departure to BC.Game and the benching of Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar.
A Short but Notable Run With The MongolZ
Tikuak’s time with The MongolZ lasted only two months. During that stretch, he played 21 maps for the team, posting a 0.91 average rating, a 47.6% map win rate.
With The MongolZ, tikuak competed at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2, the Esports World Cup 2026, and FISSURE Playground 3. In addition, the team failed to reach the playoffs or a top-four finish at any of these three events. The MongolZ ultimately finished 9th-16th at the Esports World Cup and exited FISSURE Playground 3 at the bottom of the standings after a loss to fellow Mongolian side 5star.
As a result, The MongolZ benched both tikuak and DarkMeister on September 15, 2026, ending their brief stint on the active roster. Twelve days later, on September 27, 2026, tikuak transferred back to Chinggis Warriors.
Chinggis Warriors Welcome Back a Familiar Face
The MongolZ confirmed the exit with a short statement thanking the young rifler for his time with the team: “tikuak joins the Chinggis Warriors as of today. Thank you, tikuak.”
Tikuak now slots into the current Chinggis Warriors active lineup alongside hasteka, sk0R, ROUX, and yAmi, with Munkh-ochir “Redka” Myagmarsuren continuing as coach.

Tikuak’s return gives Chinggis Warriors back a player with real experience against higher-tier competition, something few of his regional peers can claim at his age.
