The organizers of FISSURE Playground have announced a new wave of participants for the second season of the tournament in Belgrade. Joining the list are The MongolZ, FaZe, Liquid, GamerLegion, 3DMAX, and the reigning champions TYLOO, who sensationally won the first edition of the event in July.
Winners of the first tournament
The first edition of FISSURE Playground took place from July 15 to 20 in Belgrade, Serbia. The tournament ended with a sensational victory for TYLOO, who managed to go all the way to the final despite playing with their coach, WeiDze “zhokiNg” Zhong, as a stand-in. In the decisive match, the Chinese team defeated Astralis 3–1, claiming the trophy and making a loud statement on the international stage.
New participants for the second season
FISSURE organizers have announced six new teams joining the second season of the tournament. The participants now include The MongolZ, FaZe, Liquid, GamerLegion, 3DMAX, and reigning champions TYLOO. These teams will join those previously confirmed, including Falcons. This brings the total number of participants to 12, with four Global VRS invitations still to be revealed.

Tournament details and participants
FISSURE Playground 2 will be held from September 12 to 21 in Belgrade, Serbia. The prize pool will amount to $1,250,000. Sixteen teams will compete in a Swiss-system group stage with BO3 matches, after which the best will advance to a single-elimination BO3 playoff. The grand final will be played in a BO5 format.
