We reviewed 140 players from 28 invited teams, compared their facial symmetry and proportions, and created the ultimate EWC 2026 looksmaxxing ranking. Counter-Strike rankings normally revolve around ratings, trophies, head-to-head records, and individual mechanics. This time, however, none of those things matter. Ahead of the Esports World Cup 2026, we decided to answer a very different question: who is the most looksmaxxed player attending the tournament?
For this experiment, we analyzed the five-player lineups of the 28 invited teams shown in the initial EWC field — 140 players in total. The tournament itself is scheduled for August 12–23 in Paris and is set to feature 32 teams competing for a $2 million prize pool. The four open-qualifier slots were not included because this ranking was frozen around the 28 invited lineups.
The result is an AI-assisted ranking focused primarily on facial symmetry, proportions, jaw structure, and overall visual balance. It is not supposed to establish an objective definition of beauty — this is a light-hearted editorial experiment based on publicly available player photographs. And according to our system, Vitality have another number-one player on their hands.
How the Looksmax Score Was Calculated
For every player, we looked for clear public portraits in which the face was positioned as close to the camera as possible. Standardized media-day photographs were prioritized, while additional images were used for close comparisons whenever the original picture contained a noticeable head tilt, unusual lighting, or a strong facial expression.
The AI-assisted analysis placed facial landmarks around the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, cheekbones, jaw, and chin. An approximate central axis was then drawn through the face to compare the positioning and proportions of the left and right sides.
The final Looksmax Score was calculated using five categories:
- 45% — facial symmetry: alignment of the eyes, nose, lips, jaw, and other major landmarks;
- 20% — facial proportions: the relationship between the upper, middle, and lower thirds of the face;
- 15% — jawline and chin structure: definition, projection, and balance of the lower third;
- 10% — eye and eyebrow harmony: spacing, positioning, and general balance around the eyes;
- 10% — overall visual balance: how naturally the individual features fit together.
Height, body type, clothing, in-game performance, popularity, hairstyle, and personal style were not included in the score. The model concentrated on visible facial structure rather than judging the player’s entire appearance.
The percentages should not be treated as precise scientific measurements. Photography can distort facial proportions, and even a small difference in camera angle, lens distance, lighting, or expression can influence the result. A gap of less than one point should therefore be viewed as extremely close.
20. xelex — MOUZ — 84.5
Adrian “xelex” Vincze completes the detailed section of the ranking. The young MOUZ player recorded high results for facial symmetry, evenly positioned landmarks, and proportional width. His jaw is less pronounced than those of several players above him, but there were few major imbalances across the full face. With xelex, MOUZ joined NAVI and Vitality as one of the most successful teams near the top of the ranking.
19. Jame — PARIVISION — 84.7
PARIVISION immediately added a second name through Dzhami “Jame” Ali. The Major-winning IGL has a relatively long facial shape, but his features are distributed evenly across that length. He also scored well for nose-and-chin alignment and the balance of the eye area. As usual, Jame has found a way to remain near the top without taking unnecessary risks.
18. FL1T — PARIVISION — 84.9
Evgeniy “FL1T” Lebedev was PARIVISION’s highest-ranked player. He received strong scores for jaw definition, chin structure, and the balance between the upper and lower halves of the face. His symmetry rating was slightly lower than those of the players immediately above him, but the strength of his facial structure kept him comfortably inside the top 20.
17. Spinx — MOUZ — 85.2
Lotan “Spinx” Giladi scored particularly well around the eyebrows, eyes, and cheekbones. His stronger upper and middle facial sections compensated for minor differences in the lower half. The result was another high overall score for MOUZ and one of the closest battles anywhere in the top 20. Only 0.4 points separated Spinx from PR.
16. mezii — Vitality — 85.4
William “mezii” Merriman gave Vitality a second player inside the top 20. His photographs showed balanced spacing between the major facial landmarks and a relatively even eye line. He also performed well in the overall harmony category, where the combination of features mattered more than any one measurement. The British player may not possess the most angular face in the ranking, but the structure is consistently balanced.
15. PR — MOUZ — 85.6
Oldřich “PR” Nový produced one of the better central-axis results among the younger players in the tournament. The MOUZ rifler scored well for eye level, nose positioning, facial width, and the transition into the lower jaw. His high placement was primarily built on symmetry and proportions rather than an especially prominent individual feature.
14. Aleksib — NAVI — 85.9
NAVI became the first organization with three players inside the top 14. Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen has a distinctive narrow facial structure, defined cheekbones, and a strong relationship between the eyebrows and eyes. His appearance is less conventionally symmetrical than that of the top few players, but his individual features combine into a highly recognizable and balanced whole.
The scoring system rewarded that overall harmony, even when the two sides were not perfect mirror images.
13. Bymas — Luminosity — 86.1
Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras earned the highest placement among the Luminosity lineup. The Lithuanian scored particularly well for eye spacing, facial proportions, and the shape of his jaw. His features remained balanced without one section of the face visually overpowering the others. Bymas narrowly missed the top ten but still placed above more than 90% of the analyzed field.
12. Kursy — 3DMAX — 86.4
3DMAX placed a second player inside the top 12 through Jeremy “Kursy” Gast. His main advantages were an even eye line, balanced facial width, and strong alignment between the nose, lips, and chin. He did not have the same pronounced jaw as some of the players around him, but compensated with one of the more symmetrical overall structures in the field.
11. frozen — FaZe — 86.6
David “frozen” Čerňanský has a narrow, angular facial structure with clearly defined cheekbones and a strong lower third. His eye and eyebrow areas were also relatively balanced, helping him finish just outside the top ten. The FaZe player lost several fractions of a point through small differences around the jaw and mouth, but remained one of the strongest performers in overall facial structure.
10. m0NESY — Falcons — 86.9
Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov completes the top ten and gives Falcons their second player near the top of the ranking. The AWPer scored well for eye spacing, central alignment, and the smooth shape of his facial contour. His features are softer than those of NiKo, but the AI rewarded their consistency and overall balance.
There was very little separating m0NESY from w0nderful, with the two AWPers effectively tied once the limitations of photography are considered.
9. w0nderful — NAVI — 87.1
Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov became NAVI’s second representative in the top ten. His face is longer than those of several nearby players, but the additional length is distributed relatively evenly between the three main facial sections. He also has a clearly visible jawline and a centered nose-and-chin axis in suitable frontal photographs.
A slight variation in head position across different images lowered the confidence of the symmetry result, but his overall proportions remained strong enough for ninth place.
8. donk — Spirit — 87.4
The AI did not care about rating records, MVP awards, or how many opponents Danil “donk” Kryshkovets has destroyed inside the server. Even without those achievements, the Spirit superstar still finished eighth.
Donk recorded high marks for central facial alignment, eye positioning, and smooth proportional transitions between the forehead, midface, and jaw. His features are less angular than those of NiKo or b1t, but they are arranged in a particularly balanced way. Apparently, mechanical consistency is not the only type of consistency donk possesses.
7. b1t — NAVI — 87.8
Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi had one of the strongest jaw and chin scores among all 140 players. His lower face is broad and clearly defined, while the central features remain compact enough to preserve balance. He also scored well for eyebrow positioning and the relationship between facial width and length.

The NAVI rifler was not quite as symmetrical as the players occupying the first six places, but his bone structure comfortably carried him into the top ten.
6. Tauson — GamerLegion — 88.1
Sebastian “Tauson” Tauson became the second major surprise inside the top ten. The GamerLegion player’s result was driven by balanced facial thirds, relatively even eye positioning, and a well-defined lower face. The AI also found fewer major differences between his left and right facial landmarks than it did for most of the field.
His high placement shows why the ranking was not limited to the biggest names or highest-ranked teams. Once reputation and performance were removed, several less obvious candidates immediately moved toward the top.
5. Twistzz — FaZe — 88.5
It would be difficult to create a ranking like this without finding Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken somewhere near the top. The Canadian recorded high marks for symmetry, jaw definition, eye positioning, and overall facial balance. Unlike some players who scored very highly in one area but lost points elsewhere, Twistzz performed consistently across the entire formula.
His grooming and personal style were deliberately excluded from the calculation, meaning fifth place was based primarily on facial structure. Including the complete visual presentation might have pushed him even higher.

4. Maka — 3DMAX — 88.7
One of the biggest surprises of the entire experiment was Bryan “Maka” Canda. The 3DMAX AWPer may not have been an obvious pre-ranking favorite, but his photographs produced one of the cleanest central alignments in the dataset. His eye spacing, nose placement, and facial width were particularly well balanced.
Maka also benefited from a strong relationship between the upper and lower parts of his face. Nothing appeared excessively wide, narrow, long, or compressed, allowing him to finish above several of the scene’s most famous players. In terms of pure facial geometry, Maka was one of the strongest performers at EWC.
3. NiKo — Falcons — 89.0
Few players in Counter-Strike have a more recognizable appearance than Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, and his result was not built on symmetry alone. The Falcons star scored exceptionally well for his jawline, cheekbone structure, eyebrows, and the overall strength of his lower face. His features are more pronounced than those of many players above and below him, giving him one of the most conventionally masculine facial structures in the field.
Small natural differences between the two sides of the face kept NiKo behind flameZ and NertZ in the pure symmetry category. However, his proportions and bone structure were strong enough to secure third place overall.
2. NertZ — G2 — 89.4
Guy “NertZ” Iluz finished less than one point behind his former Vitality teammate. His strongest features were a defined jaw, compact facial proportions, and a particularly balanced relationship between the eyes, nose, and mouth. His face also remained visually consistent across different photographs, which reduced the influence of one especially flattering media-day picture.
NertZ came close to taking first place, but flameZ received a slightly higher symmetry result around the central axis and lower facial landmarks. Still, second place among 140 players makes NertZ the clear looksmaxxing champion of G2.
1. flameZ — Vitality — 90.2
The AI selected Shahar “flameZ” Shushan as the most looksmaxxed player in the EWC 2026 field. The Vitality rifler recorded consistently strong results across almost every category. His eyes sit on a relatively even horizontal line, the central section of his face is well aligned, and his lower third has enough definition without appearing disproportionate.
What ultimately separated flameZ from the rest was the absence of an obvious weak point. He did not necessarily dominate every individual category, but he was among the leaders in symmetry, jaw structure, eye spacing, and overall balance. Vitality may arrive in Paris as one of the favorites inside the server, but they now also have the winner of the tournament’s unofficial looksmaxxing championship.
The differences become extremely small from this point onward. Several players were separated by only fractions of a point, meaning a different photograph or facial expression could easily change the order.

Which Team Won the Looksmaxxing Battle?
Although flameZ took first place individually, no organization completely dominated the list. Falcons and Spirit placed four players each inside the top 45. NAVI, Vitality, MOUZ, G2, 3DMAX, and GamerLegion also performed strongly, with three representatives apiece.
The most surprising result belonged to 3DMAX. Maka finished fourth, Kursy took 12th place, and misutaaa reached 37th. GamerLegion also exceeded expectations through Tauson, FL4MUS, and REZ.
At the other end of the spectrum, several famous players missed the top 45. That does not mean the AI declared them unattractive. The scoring method heavily prioritized symmetry and structural proportions, meaning distinctive or asymmetrical faces could receive lower numerical results while still appearing attractive in a conventional, non-mathematical sense.
That distinction is important. Beauty cannot be reduced to a single percentage, and perfect symmetry does not automatically produce the most interesting or appealing face. Nevertheless, according to our deliberately overengineered EWC looksmaxxing experiment, the final podium belongs to flameZ, NertZ, and NiKo. Vitality already have one of the strongest players in Counter-Strike history. Now, at least according to AI, they also have the most looksmaxxed player at EWC 2026.
