Danny “zonic” Sørensen has sparked widespread discussion after publishing an emotional post about the demands of professional Counter-Strike and admitting that he will need to carefully consider his future before signing another contract. zonic reflects on life after another long season

Responding to speculation about his future, the Danish coach clarified that, while he still loves Counter-Strike, the relentless schedule has taken a toll after more than a decade of competing at the highest level. Using statistics from the first half of 2025, zonic highlighted just how demanding the lifestyle has become:
- 161 total calendar days between January 3 and June 11;
- 126 days spent traveling;
- Around 24 days off;
- Roughly 35 days spent at home.
The Falcons coach also revealed that, as a father of two children, he intends to discuss his future with his family over the next six to twelve months before potentially negotiating a new contract.
