After a series of unsuccessful performances, Virtus.pro decided to take another step toward renewing their roster. The organization announced the promotion of Volodymyr “b1st” Krasikov, who joins the main lineup after a successful period with VP.Prodigy.
A new chapter for the “Bears”
After several months of turbulence, Virtus.pro continue their internal restructuring. The team finished the CS Asia Championships 2025 in 7–8th place, and their overall win rate over the past three months has been only 38.9%. A steady decline in results — from 13th place in the global ranking to the current 23rd — forced the organization to look for new solutions.
The promotion of b1st became a logical step after his confident performances in the youth roster VP.Prodigy. Alongside recent changes, including the arrival of tO0RO and Perfecto’s transition into the in-game leader role, Virtus.pro are attempting to bring back the aggression and tempo that once defined their signature style.

Who is b1st
Volodymyr “b1st” Krasikov represents the new face of Virtus.pro’s younger generation. The sniper made a name for himself through consistent performances with VP.Prodigy, where he became one of the key figures in the lineup. His playstyle is characterized by aggressive peeks, flexible retake decisions, and a high level of discipline — traits praised by the organization’s coaches.
According to VP management, the player has already begun practicing with the main team to adapt as quickly as possible to the new pace of play. His debut is expected to take place at IEM Chengdu 2025, which will serve as the first major test for the renewed roster.

Statistics and form
Over the past few months, Virtus.pro have maintained moderate results on Train (66.7%), Overpass (62.5%), and Inferno (57.1%), while Ancient and Mirage remain their weakest maps. The players’ average ratings show clear potential — FL1T (1.14) and fame (1.07) consistently perform at a top-20 level, but a lack of cohesion in the roster has often been the deciding factor in their defeats.

Team prospects
The introduction of a new AWPer is an attempt by Virtus.pro to find a balance between experience and youth. For a team known for its slow, tactical playstyle, b1st’s arrival could mark the beginning of a refreshed in-game philosophy.
After a series of disappointing results at BLAST Open London and the Esports World Cup 2025, the team hopes that this new lineup will help regain the fans’ trust and return the “Bears” to the fight for major titles.
