100 Thieves have won the FiRe Last Chance title in Buenos Aires. They beat Wildcard 2-0 in the grand final on Sunday, 1 November 2026, and did not lose a single map in five matches.
This result matters for more than the trophy. As a result, the North American organization will play at the Singapore Major for the first time. The final also nearly slipped away on its opening map, which makes the story even better.
A Long Wait for a Major Debut
100 Thieves had not played at a Counter-Strike Major before this run. The closest they came was ELEAGUE Major Boston in 2018. They qualified with the ex-Immortals lineup, but the team was ruled out of the event because of immigration issues.
Meanwhile, the road to Singapore was tight. The last European spot in Stage 1 stayed open after HOTU finished second at the GLuck Moscow Cyber Games. FiRe Last Chance was therefore the final route for teams in the region.
Cache Nearly Turns Into an Upset
The 2-0 scoreline does not show how close Cache was. 100 Thieves took a 9-3 lead on the CT side. However, they then wasted a 5v2 advantage in the pistol round and let Wildcard back into the game.
That was only the first of several leads that Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen’s team gave away. Nerves began to show, and they had to save a map point twice. In the end, Nicolai “device” Reedtz won a tense 1v1 duel with three seconds left. 100 Thieves closed out the map 19-16 in double overtime.
100 Thieves looked far more comfortable on Dust2. They built an 8-4 lead on the T side and then finished the game with a perfect 5-0 run. The final score on the map was 13-4.

device Leads the Scoreboard
device was the top player of the series, with a 1.53 rating and a 45-26 kill-death record. Håvard “rain” Nygaard followed with a 1.30 rating. Alex “poiii” Nyholm Sundgren and William “sirah” Kjærsgaard finished with 1.26 and 1.25. Gizmy ended the series with a 0.99 rating.
For Wildcard, Jadan “HexT” Postma was the standout. He posted a 1.43 rating and a 42-38 record. His teammates found it harder to match him, and none of them finished above a 0.83 rating.

Europe VRS Ranking
The title also changes the standings. 100 Thieves now sit 18th in the Europe VRS. This ranking, together with the trophy, gave them the region’s last place in Stage 1 of the Singapore Major.
Why This Win Matters for 100 Thieves
According to the final match data from FiRe Last Chance, 100 Thieves handled both high-pressure moments and routine ones. On Cache, they survived two map points and won in double overtime. On Dust2, they relied on a map they know well and won with ease.
In addition, the title ends a long wait for the organization. Its first Major appearance will come in Singapore, in Stage 1, after a run without a lost map. The team will now hope that the nerves seen on Cache stay in Buenos Aires. Finally, the trophy shows that 100 Thieves can win when it counts, and that is a strong start for their Major debut.
