A new scandal involving a possible fixed match has erupted around the tier-2 CS2 scene. Artem “cairne” Mushynskyi stated that before the game against GamerLegion he received a suspicious message from Ilya “Ganginho” Chernychenko, and after the match the situation allegedly escalated into a demand to pay $5,000 and threats of problems with ESIC.
Suspicious message before the match
According to cairne, Ganginho wrote to him directly before the series against GamerLegion. The message looked especially strange because it mentioned an upcoming conversation with ESIC and asked about their personal relationship.

cairne himself claims that he did not see the message at that moment because he had no mobile internet. As a result, he played the series without any context around the chat and later called that BO3 one of his best matches.

After the game, the player noticed the message and, according to him, immediately took screenshots and archived the chat. This became a key part of his public version of events, as he decided to preserve possible evidence of the communication.
After that, the story began to look much more serious. If at first the message could still be interpreted ambiguously, the later claims described by cairne directly linked the situation to money and possible sanctions.
After the match, $5,000 was allegedly demanded
cairne stated that after the expected match scenario did not happen, Ganginho allegedly began demanding $5,000 from him. According to the player, the money had to be transferred by the end of the day.

According to cairne’s version, the financial demand was accompanied by threats of a possible ESIC ban and the effective destruction of his professional career. At this point, this remains cairne’s public statement, not an established decision by a disciplinary body.

cairne’s main suspicion is that the message before the series may have been an attempt to influence the result of the match against GamerLegion. This is the episode he placed at the center of his story about a possible scheme.
At the same time, the fact of the message itself does not yet prove the organization of a fixed match. Final conclusions require a review of the full chat, bets, financial links, and other possible evidence — exactly the kinds of details that usually determine whether a suspicion turns into an official investigation.
