FURIA fe are leaving Counter-Strike to compete exclusively in VALORANT. The announcement marks another major departure from the women’s CS scene.
The team ends its Counter-Strike chapter as a world champion. However, the switch also comes during a difficult period for women’s CS, which has lost key players, teams and tournament opportunities.
FURIACS Become FURIAVAL Inclusive
FURIA confirmed the change on Monday. The organization announced that its women’s Counter-Strike division, previously known as FURIA fe, will now become FURIAVAL Inclusivo.
The move means that the roster will no longer compete in Counter-Strike. Instead, FURIA will focus on building its next competitive stage in VALORANT.
The organization first entered women’s Counter-Strike in 2020. FURIA expanded into the discipline and formed its first team during that year.
FURIA Leave CS as World Champions
Over the following years, FURIA fe established itself as one of the most successful teams in women’s Counter-Strike. The biggest result came at the ESL Impact S7 Finals, where the roster won the tournament and became world champions.
Therefore, the team’s transition to VALORANT closes a highly successful period. FURIA leave the game with a world championship and several other important titles.

Women’s CS Loses Another Top Team
FURIA’s decision is not an isolated case. Recently, Mayline “ASTRA” Champliaud also moved from Counter-Strike to VALORANT.
ASTRA was named the best CS2 player in the world in 2025. Her transition followed concerns over the lack of tournaments and the unstable situation in women’s Counter-Strike.
Meanwhile, the scene faced another major blow with the end of ESL Impact. In October last year, ESL announced that it would no longer organize the women’s circuit.
ESL Impact Closure Raises Concerns
ESL Impact had provided a consistent competitive structure for women’s Counter-Strike. Each season included regional competitions, followed by an international world championship event.
As a result, the end of the circuit removed one of the most important tournament systems in the scene. FURIA fe’s move to VALORANT now further highlights the uncertainty surrounding women’s Counter-Strike.
The organization will start a new chapter in VALORANT under the FURIAVAL Inclusivo name. However, its exit from CS is another significant loss for a scene that continues to search for a stable future.
