The HLTV Awards 2025 will take place on January 10 at the newly renovated Sava Centar in Belgrade, Serbia. This marks the third consecutive year the ceremony will be held in the Serbian capital — previous editions saw ZywOo and donk crowned as the best players in the world.
New Venue – More Guests
After two successful years in Belgrade, the HLTV Awards return to the city with a fresh upgrade — the Blue Hall of the iconic Sava Centar. The new location allows the event to expand its audience from 600 to 1,000 attendees, increase the preshow space, and bring more entertainment to the main ceremony.
The venue is one of Belgrade’s architectural landmarks, matching the ambition of the awards: combining prestige with spectacle. As in previous years, the ceremony will be produced by Relog Media.
Conference and Activities
A major addition for 2025 is a one-day industry conference scheduled for January 9, the day before the awards. This initiative addresses the growing interest from the professional scene, aiming to discuss key topics that will help strengthen the Counter-Strike ecosystem.
That same Friday will also feature a pre-mixer and social activities (similar to last year), including padel, shooting range, and other informal networking events.
Awards and Hall of Fame
As always, the ceremony will honor the best players, teams, coaches, and community members. The “Skin of the Year” category — presented by Skin.Club and introduced last year — will also return, continuing to celebrate the cosmetic side of Counter-Strike.
Additionally, three new legends will be inducted into the HLTV Hall of Fame. They will join the existing members:
Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, Emil “HeatoN” Christensen, and Tommy “Potti” Ingemarsson.
Each new inductee will receive:
- A custom Rolex watch with an engraved Hall of Fame inscription
- A dedicated player profile on HLTV
- Recognition on the upcoming Hall of Fame map, set to release in July
