NAVI edge past GamerLegion in difficult three-map battle

The series started on Inferno — GamerLegion’s map pick — but NAVI immediately took control of the game. Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy delivered several crucial multi-kill rounds on the CT side, while iM constantly shut down late executes around A site. NAVI dominated the opener and closed Inferno 13-4 without allowing GamerLegion to establish momentum.
Ancient became a completely different story. GamerLegion looked far more prepared on their own defensive setups, repeatedly punishing NAVI’s slow defaults and mid-round rotations. Oldřich “PR” Nový and Milan “hypex” Polowiec stepped up individually, helping GamerLegion crush NAVI 13-1 and force a decider.
Mirage ultimately decided the series. Both teams traded rounds throughout the map, but NAVI looked calmer in key late-game situations. b1t and w0nderful combined for several important holds on the CT side, while AleksiB’s mid-round calls helped NAVI regain control after GamerLegion threatened a comeback. NAVI eventually closed Mirage 13-11 to secure the series 2-1.

b1t becomes the difference-maker

Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy was the standout player of the series and finished with a 1.13 rating, 82.5 ADR and multiple crucial impact rounds across all three maps. Despite NAVI’s inconsistent performance on Ancient, the Ukrainian star remained their most stable performer throughout the match.
For GamerLegion, PR impressed with a strong 1.30 rating, while hypex also delivered several key rounds during the team’s dominant Ancient performance.
SINNERS eliminate Passion UA after reverse sweep in lower bracket

The second featured match of the day saw SINNERS defeat Passion UA 2-1 in the Group B lower bracket, eliminating the Ukrainian roster from IEM Atlanta 2026. After losing the opening map, the Czech lineup completely shifted the momentum of the series and looked far more composed in the final two maps.
Dust2 started strongly for Passion UA. Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol led the way with aggressive entries and impactful mid-round plays, while nicx repeatedly punished SINNERS during retake situations. Passion UA controlled the pace for most of the map and secured a confident 13-8 victory.
Mirage completely changed the direction of the series. SINNERS looked far sharper around middle control and constantly denied Passion UA space to execute comfortably. Max “SHOCK” Kvapil and Kamil “kisseRek” Bana repeatedly created openings, allowing SINNERS to equalize the series with a 13-9 win.
Overpass became the deciding map and remained competitive early on, but SINNERS gradually took over on the CT side. SHOCK and beastik shut down several key executes, while MoDo provided stability with the AWP during late-round situations. Passion UA struggled to recover economically after multiple lost gun rounds, and SINNERS eventually closed the map 13-8 to complete the reverse sweep.

SHOCK leads SINNERS to survival

Max “SHOCK” Kvapil became one of the main reasons behind SINNERS’ comeback victory, delivering several crucial opening kills across Mirage and Overpass. Kamil “kisseRek” Bana and MoDo also had major impact during the final two maps, while Kvem remained the standout player for Passion UA despite the elimination, finishing the series with a 1.22 rating and 94.7 ADR.
VRS impact
The results also affected the Valve Regional Standings:
- NAVI: +7 points → remain #3
- GamerLegion: -5 points → remain #16
- SINNERS: +22 points → rise to #28
- Passion UA: -11 points → fall to #47
With every LAN result becoming increasingly important ahead of future invites and qualification cycles, even lower bracket matches continue to have major VRS implications.
What comes next at IEM Atlanta 2026
NAVI now move one step closer toward playoff qualification and continue proving they remain one of the strongest contenders at the tournament despite occasional instability. GamerLegion still have a шанс to recover through the lower bracket, while SINNERS gain valuable momentum after surviving elimination pressure. As the Atlanta bracket tightens, every upcoming series could become decisive both for playoff survival and for the increasingly competitive VRS race.
