StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 will begin with a match between MOUZ and NRG in the Opening Round of the Double Elimination Bracket. The teams will play a Bo3: the winner will advance to the Upper semi-finals, while the losing team will drop to Lower Round 1. The difference in the world ranking is significant — MOUZ are in third place, while NRG are in 51st position, so the European roster approaches the series as the clear favorite.

STARLADDER STARSERIES FALL 2026 — FORMAT SPECIFICS

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 takes place in Barcelona with eight teams participating. The main bracket uses Double Elimination: all matches before the Grand final are played in a Bo3 format, while the decisive series of the tournament will be Bo5. A victory for MOUZ or NRG in the opening round will allow them to move to the Upper semi-finals, while a loss will leave only the path through the lower bracket.

The total prize pool of the tournament is $500,000. In this format, the first victory is especially important, as it allows a team to avoid an early elimination match. MOUZ have a significantly higher status and experience in matches against top opponents, while for NRG this series will be an opportunity to test their good form against a top-3 team.

HEAD-TO-HEAD — MOUZ HAVE A NOTICEABLE ADVANTAGE

According to the presented head-to-head matches, MOUZ lead against NRG 4:1 by maps. At CS Asia Championships 2026, the European roster won Mirage 13:9 and Nuke 13:6, losing only on Ancient 10:13. Earlier, at IEM Kraków 2026, MOUZ defeated NRG on Ancient and Dust2 with identical 13:9 scores.

Thus, MOUZ already have successful experience against this roster on several different maps. NRG have shown that they are capable of taking individual maps, but in the two latest series it was the European team that controlled the matchup more consistently.

CURRENT FORM

MOUZ — a strong stretch against top opponents

MOUZ’s recent results include victories over Vitality 2:0, Falcons 2:1, Inner Circle 2:0, and 9z 2:0. At the same time, the team lost to Spirit 1:3 in a Bo5 and earlier lost to FUT 0:2. Overall, their form remains positive, while the level of opposition is much higher than what NRG regularly face.

Among the presented players, torzsi has the best numbers with a 1.16 rating over the last three months. He has 0.75 kills per round, only 0.55 deaths, 76.5% KAST, and a round swing of +2.44%. Together with xertioN, Spinx, PR, and xelec, he gives MOUZ a stable individual foundation.

NRG — good results, but a weaker level of opposition

NRG have recently been showing fairly positive results. The team defeated Liquid 2:0, Voca 2:0, and Without a Roof 2:0, as well as beating Ascend 2:1. At the same time, there were losses to Liquid 2:3 and Phantom 1:2, so the run of results is not completely stable.

The strongest presented individual numbers belong to Sonic with a 1.25 rating. He averages 0.81 kills per round, has a 1.25 multi-kill rating, and 87.9 ADR. Together with nitr0, hallzerk, Grim, and Jeorge, he forms a roster capable of creating problems for the favorite, especially on comfortable maps.

MAP POOL & VETO

Statistics over the last 3 months (MOUZ | NRG):

  1. Cache: — | 89%
  2. Dust2: 67% | 100%
  3. Mirage: 88% | 67%
  4. Inferno: 100% | 50%
  5. Nuke: 75% | 86%
  6. Ancient: 33% | 57%
  7. Anubis: — | —

Expected veto:

  • MOUZ may logically remove Cache. NRG have an 89% win rate on this map across nine matches, while MOUZ played it only once in the presented stretch. Giving the American roster such a comfortable map does not make much sense.
  • NRG, in turn, should limit Inferno or Mirage as much as possible. MOUZ have a 100% win rate on Inferno across three maps and 88% on Mirage across eight. Mirage looks especially dangerous, where the European roster has a much larger sample with a very high win rate.

Likely maps:

  • Mirage looks like one of the best choices for MOUZ. The team has an 88% win rate across eight matches against 67% for NRG. Inferno also remains a strong option, although the American roster may remove one of these two maps at the early stage of the veto.
  • NRG may answer with Nuke or Dust2. On Nuke, they have an 86% win rate across seven matches, while MOUZ show 75% across eight. Dust2 is statistically even stronger for NRG — 100% across four maps, although MOUZ also have a competitive 67%. Ancient may become a potential decider, and this is where NRG have an advantage of 57% against 33%.

KEY DUELS

  1. torzsi vs Sonic — a matchup between the two most productive players according to the presented statistics, where Sonic has the higher rating, but torzsi is much more often tested against top opposition.
  2. Spinx vs Grim — a rifle duel that can determine control of key positions and the stability of trades in the middle of rounds.
  3. xertioN vs Jeorge — an aggressive battle for space, especially important on Mirage, Nuke, and Dust2.

PREDICTION

NRG have strong statistics on Cache, Dust2, and Nuke, while Sonic approaches the match with very good individual numbers. If the American roster gets one of its best maps and can avoid Inferno or Mirage, it has a real chance to make the series competitive.

However, MOUZ are significantly stronger in terms of overall level of opposition, occupy third place in the world ranking, and lead 4:1 by maps in recent head-to-head matches. Their map pool also has several very strong directions, and their Bo3 experience against top opponents should give the team an advantage in decisive rounds. NRG can force a fight, but MOUZ remain the favorites.

Projected result: MOUZ 2–0 NRG
