From NAVI to Monte
Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev is one of the most underrated players in modern CS2. His road to consistency hasn’t been easy: in 2022, he spent half a year as a stand-in for NAVI. The team failed to deliver notable results, and sdy’s personal rating during that time was just 0.98 — a modest number for tier-1 competition. Communication challenges and lack of experience at the top level contributed to the struggles.
Later, Viktor joined the Ukrainian squad Monte, where he achieved several important results:

In late July, after gla1ve stepped down from the active roster, sdy took over the role of IGL — despite having no prior experience in this position. In the match against The MongolZ at BLAST Bounty Season 2, he delivered a strong individual performance: on Dust2, he ended with a 19/12 KD, 100 ADR, and a 1.46 rating — an impressive statline for a captain. Despite a 2-1 loss and tournament elimination, ENCE came close to pulling off an upset.

Despite ENCE’s inconsistency, sdy is growing more confident as a leader. His individual form, experience from tier-2 tournaments, and new responsibilities could serve as a solid foundation for the team’s future.
