Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski has officially parted ways with G2 Esports, ending over a year with the organization. The Polish veteran joined the team in July 2024 and managed to achieve several notable results, including victories at BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024. Despite a strong start, after the departure of key stars NiKo and m0NESY, G2’s performance declined significantly, and in July Snax was moved to the bench. Now the player has officially bid farewell to the club and thanked his teammates for the time they spent together.
Snax’s Achievements
Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski joined G2 in July 2024. During his time with the team, they competed at a number of top-tier tournaments and secured podium finishes:
- Esports World Cup 2024 — 2nd place
- BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 — 1st place
- BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 — 1st place
However, following the departure of star players NiKo and m0NESY, the team’s results dropped significantly. The last notable achievement came with 2nd place at PGL Bucharest 2025, still with m0NESY on the roster. In July this year, Snax was benched and replaced by matys from fnatic.

During his time with G2, Snax earned around $250,000, which is a respectable result for such a short stint.

The Future of Snax
It remains uncertain what Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski’s next step will be after leaving G2. In his statement, he mentioned that he plans to take a break for now to sort out personal matters and restore balance. Such a move seems logical after an intense period at the highest level, as the past year saw him go through roster changes, major victories, and tough defeats.
For Snax, this could be a much-needed time to rest and reset before deciding on his future. His experience and achievements make him an attractive option for many organizations, so offers will certainly come his way. At the same time, there is a chance he may want a longer pause before returning to the scene in a new role or with another team. For now, fans are waiting for his next step while continuing to support the legendary Polish player.
