The MongolZ opened their BLAST Bounty Season 2 campaign with a 2-1 victory over HEROIC before facing Wildcard in the qualification match for the LAN Finals. With another convincing performance, they advanced to the Malta event without dropping a deciding map.

Wildcard entered Stage 2 after upsetting Alliance in the opening round, but could not replicate that performance against the Mongolian squad. Their BLAST Bounty campaign comes to an end following the Round of 16 defeat.

The MongolZ in control throughout the series

Wildcard selected Dust2 hoping to challenge the favorites, but The MongolZ quickly established control. Led by Zolbayar “tikuak” Chimedtseren and Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch, the Mongolian side dictated the pace on both halves and secured a comfortable 13-7 victory.

Inferno followed a similar pattern despite being The MongolZ’s own pick. Wildcard remained competitive during the opening stages, but stronger mid-round calling and superior trading allowed The MongolZ to pull away late in the map. They closed the series 13-9 to punch their ticket to the LAN Finals in Malta.
