The Russian organization BetBoom continues its fight for a slot at the upcoming Major, with Majestic LanDaLan 3 in Moscow being the key test. The team, having gone through roster changes, is already feeling a new impulse from recent transfers.

THE LEADER’S STORY: A CAREER THAT SHAPED A GENERATION

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov is the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 champion with NAVI, as well as a finalist and medalist of multiple prestigious tournaments. His career has always combined stability on the server with the ability to rebuild teams toward high goals. After stints with 1win and Cloud9, he joined BetBoom to help the younger roster secure a spot in the upper ranks of the global standings.

In 2025, BetBoom have already proven they can win — most notably taking BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 2. However, the team continues to search for balance between experience and the fresh energy of new players.

WHO MAKES UP BETBOOM’S STARTING FIVE TODAY

The updated roster as of September looks like this:

  • Boombl4
  • S1ren
  • d1Ledez
  • ArtFr0st
  • Magnojez
  • Coach: RAiLWAY

On the bench remain zorte and Ax1Le, who until recently were key parts of the lineup. Coach Artem “RAiLWAY” Gradovich continues building the team with a focus on long-term results.

A NEW IMPULSE WITH D1LEDEZ

The addition of Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov has been a turning point for BetBoom. Despite relatively little LAN experience, he quickly fit into the team’s game and impacted the internal atmosphere. Boombl4 himself noted:

I see the growth, and the atmosphere has become much better within the team.

Kirill emphasized that the young player not only fulfills the role of sniper and entry but also brings new energy:

He’s that positive guy, like me once in the beginning of my career, who creates the vibe and atmosphere within the team.

BETBOOM AT DRACULAN SEASON 2

BetBoom’s form in September appeared inconsistent. The team won CCT Season 3 Europe Series 5 and reached the finals of CCT Season 3 Europe Series 6. However, in qualifiers for Thunderpick World Championship and Exort Proving Grounds, the Russians fell at early stages.

Their map pool stats over the past three months highlight their strengths:

  1. Nuke – 69.6% (key pick)
  2. Ancient – 66.7%
  3. Overpass – 60%
  4. Weaker remains Mirage (37.5%), giving opponents a clear opportunity to adjust pick-ban against BetBoom.

On one hand, a win rate of 65.6% over the last three months demonstrates the team’s potential. On the other, the key issue is instability at LAN tournaments: online they can string together series of 10+ wins, but offline they often falter in decisive matches.

THE PATH TO THE MAJOR IS STILL OPEN

Majestic LanDaLan 3 will test BetBoom’s readiness for their ultimate goal — qualifying for the Major. Ahead lies a series of CCT tournaments where the team has a chance to strengthen their ranking.

The decision to bench Ax1Le and zorte could be either a risk or a long-term gain. At the same time, investing in d1Ledez and ArtFr0st can be seen as a bet on the future, as the young players are showing ambition and already delivering results.

A NEW ROSTER — NEW ENERGY

BetBoom with Boombl4 remain a team of contrasts: strong wins alternate with painful losses, and stability is still being built. Yet it is clear that the transfer of d1Ledez has already changed the team’s atmosphere and injected fresh energy for a breakthrough. Decisive matches are ahead, and now the team has the chance to prove they can consistently compete at the level of the world’s top 20.
