HEROIC have officially shut down their Counter-Strike academy project. The decision brings an unexpected end to a roster that spent several months under the organization’s banner and reached several playoffs during that period.

The organization announced the news on social media and confirmed that it is parting ways with the entire academy lineup.
Today, we are announcing that we will be parting ways with our Counter-Strike Academy team. Over the past several months, this team gave us plenty of reasons to be proud with multiple playoff appearances and a memorable victory over M80 at POG JOURNEY. They competed with passion, and it showed.
HEROIC also thanked the players and staff for their efforts. The organization wished everyone success in the next stage of their careers. As a result, the roster enters the off-season without organizational support.
Yoghi Starts Looking for a New Team
Academy IGL Yoghi shared his thoughts shortly after the announcement. He revealed that the project ended earlier than expected and confirmed that he is now searching for a new opportunity.
Staggering news… things out of our hands happened, and this project has come to an early end. I had a great time playing under this badge, through both the good and bad moments.
The Romanian player thanked his teammates, the HEROIC staff, and members of the main squad. He also mentioned Odo and Chr1zN, who helped him improve as an in-game leader. Yoghi ended his statement by announcing that he is open to offers for the upcoming season.
