The second semi-final of CS Asia Championships 2026 ended with a confident victory for Legacy. The Brazilian squad defeated MIBR 2-0 and secured their place in the grand final after a composed and highly disciplined performance across both maps. Coming into the match, many expected a close Brazilian derby between two teams that had impressed throughout the tournament. However, Legacy quickly took control of the series and never truly allowed MIBR to build momentum. Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer once again delivered a star performance, while the entire roster looked far more stable in key moments.
Path through the tournament
Legacy reached the grand final after victories over NRG, TYLOO, and The MongolZ during the event before defeating MIBR in the semi-final. The Brazilian squad now look like one of the most dangerous teams left in the tournament.
MIBR also impressed throughout CS Asia Championships 2026 with wins over PARIVISION and B8 before their run was stopped by Legacy one step away from the final.
Legacy dominate Mirage and close Inferno comfortably
The series started on Mirage — Legacy’s map pick — and immediately turned into a chaotic battle full of momentum swings. MIBR managed to keep the score close throughout regulation thanks to strong individual moments from Felipe “insani” Yuji, but Legacy constantly found crucial multi-kill rounds on the CT side.
After a tense ending to regulation, Legacy stepped up massively in overtime and closed Mirage 16-12. Dumau finished the opener with excellent impact, while Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco and Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira consistently created space during late-round executions.
Inferno became far more one-sided. MIBR completely collapsed on the defensive side and struggled to respond to Legacy’s aggressive pace. Legacy dominated the map from the opening rounds and quickly built a massive lead before closing the game 13-5 without serious resistance.
The victory secured Legacy a place in the grand final, while MIBR dropped into the third-place decider.

dumau becomes the key difference-maker again
Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer was once again the standout player of the series and finished with a 1.39 rating across two maps. The Brazilian rifler consistently won opening duels, delivered multiple important clutches, and looked completely in control during the most difficult moments of Mirage.
Saadzin also had a fantastic series with a 1.38 rating, while n1ssim and latto both provided strong support throughout the match. For MIBR, insani was the only player consistently finding impact, ending the series with a 1.35 rating despite the loss.
