Snipers have completely taken over the ranking of the most productive clutchers in the entire history of LAN tournaments in CS2. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut share first place with 191 won clutches, followed by broky, sh1ro, and woxic — meaning the entire top 5 consists exclusively of AWP players.
m0NESY and ZywOo both approached the 200 mark
At the top of the ranking, there is now absolute equality: m0NESY and ZywOo have each won 191 clutches on LAN in CS2. Both need only nine more successful situations to become the first in the history of the new version of the game to cross the 200 mark.
Because of this, another parallel race has effectively emerged between the two superstars. They already regularly compete for individual awards and the highest statistical positions, and now the next big LANs may also determine the first player with two hundred won clutches.
broky remains very close
Third place belongs to Helvijs “broky” Saukants, who has accumulated 184 won clutches. He is only seven situations behind the leaders, so mathematically he also remains a full participant in the race for the first 200.
For broky, such a high position is especially logical considering his style. The Latvian has long been known for calm play in the closing stages of rounds and often remains the last alive player of his team, receiving a large number of clutch opportunities.
sh1ro also stays among the leaders
Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov is fourth with 182 clutches — only two fewer than broky and nine fewer than m0NESY and ZywOo. This result allows him to remain very close to the top three.
His presence on this list also fits his playing profile well. sh1ro traditionally values his own life, often reaches the late stages of the round with the AWP, and because of this regularly gets opportunities to close situations on his own.

woxic closes out the top five
Fifth place belongs to Özgür “woxic” Eker with 172 won clutches. He is already ten situations behind fourth place, but overall he still keeps a place among the five most successful LAN clutchers of the CS2 era.
It is especially telling that even the last player in this top five is a main sniper. There is not a single pure rifler in the top 5, although riflers often receive the largest number of contacts during a round.
Why snipers have taken over the ranking so strongly
AWP players, by the nature of their role, more often preserve their lives until the late stage of a round. They often work from safer distances, do not always take part in the first contact, and remain alive after the trade of more aggressive teammates.
This does not mean that it is automatically easier for a sniper to win a clutch — especially when they need to retake a position with the AWP. However, the structure of the role itself creates more situations in which the sniper is the last player left on the team and gets a chance to add to their personal counter.
The race for 200 is only beginning
The current top looks like this:
- m0NESY — 191,
- ZywOo — 191,
- broky — 184,
- sh1ro — 182,
- woxic — 172 clutches.
The difference between first and fourth place is only nine won situations, so the order can still change fairly quickly.
The main intrigue here is obvious: m0NESY and ZywOo are at exactly the same mark and are the closest to the historic 200. Now every next LAN can not only change the leader of the ranking, but also determine the first CS2 player to reach this milestone.
