Skin of the Year Nomination Official Rules

DEFINITIONS

Steam is an online service developed and owned by Valve Corporation. CS2 is the Counter-Strike 2 video game developed and published by Valve Corporation.

Skin means a virtual in-game item associated with CS2 and intended for entertainment purposes.

Website means the Skin.Club website and the official Skin of the Year Nomination 2026 event page https://community.skin.club/skin-of-the-year-nomination/.

Company (Organizer) means Moontain Limited, a legal entity registered under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus with registration number HE410299, located at 13 Kypranoros Street, Office 205, 1061 Nicosia, Cyprus, operating under the Skin.Club brand.

Official Rules (Rules) mean these Skin of the Year Nomination 2026 Official Rules governing the Event, community voting, the Voting Giveaway and the Promotional Giveaway.

User (Participant) means a natural person at least eighteen (18) years old who meets the eligibility requirements and agrees to these Rules.

Event means the Skin of the Year Nomination 2026 community voting event intended to select two (2) CS2 Skins for nomination at the HLTV Awards.

Tier means a voting rank assigned to a Skin by a User; Points mean the numerical score associated with that Tier.

Voting Giveaway means the prize draw for eligible Users who participate in Event voting. Promotional Giveaway means a separate prize draw for eligible Users who make a qualifying deposit using the designated promo code.

Ticket means a non-transferable virtual entry into the relevant Giveaway; it has no monetary value and cannot be sold, withdrawn or exchanged for cash.

Credits obtained after topping up a Skin.Club account are internal Website tokens for use on the Website and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.

GENERAL INFO

1. These Rules constitute the terms governing participation in the Event and the two associated Giveaways between the Company and each participating User.

2. Before participation, the User must review and accept these Rules together with the Website Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, as applicable, and confirm that the User is at least eighteen (18) years old.

3. Voting and entry into the Voting Giveaway are free. No purchase or deposit is required to vote or receive Voting Giveaway Tickets.

4. The Event involves three successive rounds of tier-based voting by community members. The two highest-ranked Skins following the final round will be nominated for the Skin of the Year category at the HLTV Awards.

5. The Event schedule and opening and closing times of each voting stage will be displayed on the Event page. The Company may reasonably reschedule stages and will notify Users via the Website. Previously valid entries will be treated fairly, subject to applicable law.

6. Only the official Event page and the applicable Giveaway pages display the current promotional details. Material conditions relevant to eligibility and prize selection must be made available before participation.

7. The Company is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation or Steam. HLTV does not organize or administer the Giveaways and is not responsible for distribution of Giveaway prizes.

8. The Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable to the User.

9. By participating in the Event, including submitting a vote or entering either Giveaway, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE

1. The Event and Giveaways are open only to individuals aged at least eighteen (18) years, legally eligible to participate in their country or region, and able to accept these Rules.

2. Users must authenticate using their Steam account. A Steam account of Level 3 or above is required to cast votes and thereby earn Voting Giveaway Tickets.

3. Participation is available only in jurisdictions where the Event and the relevant Giveaways are permitted under applicable law and the Website's eligibility restrictions.

4. Each individual may use only one account. Using multiple accounts, another person's account or inaccurate identity information is prohibited.

5. The Company may request proportionate identity, age or account verification before awarding prizes or where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or satisfy legal obligations.

SKIN OF THE YEAR NOMINATION VOTING RULES

1. Skin.Club is the Organizer of the Event. The initial selection consists of twenty-four (24) CS2 Skins selected by the Company.

2. The Event comprises three rounds: Stage 1 includes 24 Skins and advances the top 8; Stage 2 includes those 8 Skins and advances the top 4; Stage 3 (Final) includes those 4 Skins and determines the two winning Skins.

3. At Stage 1, Users assign all twenty-four (24) Skins to tiers S, A, B, C or D. Each tier may contain no more than twelve (12) Skins. The corresponding Points are S = 5, A = 4, B = 3, C = 2 and D = 1.

4. At Stage 2, Users assign all eight (8) competing Skins to the same five tiers S, A, B, C or D, worth 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1 Points respectively. Each tier may contain no more than four (4) Skins.

5. At Stage 3 (Final), Users rank the four (4) finalists in exactly four tiers, S, A, B and C, placing exactly one Skin in each tier. The corresponding Points are S = 4, A = 3, B = 2 and C = 1. Repeated positions are not permitted.

6. Each User may submit one completed tier ranking per stage. A ranking is counted only after the User confirms and submits it through the Event interface. Once submitted, it cannot be changed.

7. Skins progress on the basis of their stage voting results. The eight (8) top-ranked Skins progress from Stage 1 to Stage 2; the four (4) top-ranked Skins progress to the Final; and the two (2) top-ranked Skins in the Final are selected for the HLTV Awards nomination. Skins shall be ranked according to the total number of Points received during the relevant voting stage. In the event that two or more Skins receive an equal number of Points, the Skin that reached the relevant total first, as determined by the Website's recorded timestamps, shall be ranked higher.

8. The Company may disregard fraudulent, automated or otherwise invalid votes, and may review anomalous voting patterns in order to protect the integrity of the Event.

9. The final results will be published on the official Event page after the conclusion of the relevant stage and reasonable verification.

RULES FOR VOTERS & VOTING GIVEAWAY

1. A User who successfully submits an eligible ranking in a stage receives one (1) Ticket in the Voting Giveaway for that stage, up to a maximum of three (3) Tickets across all three stages.

2. A Ticket is one entry in the Voting Giveaway. An eligible User who participates in more stages has proportionately more entries than a User who participates in fewer stages.

3. Once the voting period has ended, winners will be selected randomly from valid Tickets. The prize list, number of prize places, and method for publishing winners will be displayed on the relevant Giveaway page.

4. The User list, Ticket totals and Giveaway results may be displayed on the Giveaway page in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

5. Voting Giveaway participation does not require a deposit, promo code or use of paid Website services.

PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAY

1. The Company separately offers a Promotional Giveaway for Users who enter the designated promotional code and deposit at least USD 10 (or its applicable currency equivalent) to their Skin.Club account during the published promotion period.

2. An eligible User who meets the requirements receives one (1) Promotional Giveaway Ticket in total, regardless of the number or aggregate value of subsequent qualifying deposits.

3. The Promotional Giveaway is independent of the Voting Giveaway. Its Ticket does not affect any Skin rankings or Voting Giveaway entries.

4. Winners are chosen randomly from the valid Promotional Giveaway Tickets. The relevant Giveaway page will publish the prizes, drawing details and results.

5. Only completed, valid qualifying deposits count. Reversed, refunded, cancelled or fraudulent transactions do not qualify.

6. The Promotional Giveaway will be offered only in jurisdictions where the proposed deposit-linked promotional mechanics are lawful and compatible with applicable consumer protection and promotional rules.

PRIZES, WINNER SELECTION AND CLAIMING

1. The prize items, quantities and applicable rules for allocating prizes will be shown on the respective Giveaway pages. Prizes may consist of CS2 Skins or other expressly listed virtual items.

2. Giveaway winners will be determined by a random draw from the respective set of valid Tickets, using the random selection process implemented for the Event.

3. Winners must claim the relevant prize within thirty (30) calendar days after the prize becomes claimable or the winner is notified through the Event or Website interface.

4. To receive a Skin through Steam, a winner must provide an active Steam Trade URL and ensure that their Steam account can accept the item without trade restrictions.

5. If a Winner fails to claim a Prize or fulfil the applicable delivery requirements within thirty (30) calendar days from the commencement of the applicable claim period, the Prize shall be forfeited and will not be awarded to another Participant, subject to applicable law.

6. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another participant, except where required by law. Winners are responsible for applicable individual tax obligations except where the Company is required to account for them.

OBLIGATIONS OF USER AND FAIR PLAY

1. Users must not use bots, scripts, automation tools, multi-accounting, vote manipulation or other abusive means to affect voting results or accumulate Tickets.

2. Users must not buy, sell, transfer or share accounts for Event participation, and must not use fraudulent payment methods or reverse deposits to obtain Promotional Giveaway Tickets.

3. If the Company reasonably establishes a violation, it may void associated votes and Tickets, disqualify the User and apply relevant measures under the Website Terms of Service.

4. The Company may require appropriate KYC and anti-fraud checks where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the Event.

PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

1. The Company processes account identifiers, voting entries, Ticket information, prize fulfilment data and other information reasonably necessary to conduct the Event, prevent fraud and comply with applicable law.

2. Personal data is processed according to the Skin.Club Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. Publication of leaderboards, participant lists and winners should be limited to information lawfully disclosed.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & NO WARRANTIES

1. The Website, voting services and Giveaway interfaces are provided subject to technical availability. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

2. The Company is not responsible for failures of third-party systems, including Steam API availability, trade restrictions, User devices or Internet connectivity, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits any liability or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

1. Users should first contact Skin.Club customer support at help@skin.club in order to seek an amicable resolution of any Event-related concern.

2. Disputes are subject to the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and any valid dispute-resolution provisions in the Website Terms of Service, without prejudice to mandatory rights and applicable legal protections.
