The series started on Dust2, picked by 3DMAX, and the French squad made the most of their choice. Strong T-side executions helped them build an early advantage before closing the map 13-10, putting MOUZ under immediate pressure.

MOUZ answered emphatically on Nuke, their own map pick. The teams produced one of the closest maps of the stage, but MOUZ eventually prevailed 22-18 after multiple overtimes, with Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás delivering several crucial rounds to keep his team alive.

After surviving the marathon on Nuke, MOUZ completely took over the decider. Inferno quickly became one-sided as MOUZ dominated from the opening rounds, allowing 3DMAX just three rounds on their way to a convincing 13-3 victory and a 2-1 series win.

Player of the Match

Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás was the standout performer of the series. The Hungarian AWPer finished with a 1.38 rating, 67-44 K-D, 80.9 ADR, and 84.8% KAST, playing a decisive role in MOUZ’s comeback, especially during the marathon on Nuke.

VRS impact

The result strengthened both teams’ positions in the Valve Regional Standings. MOUZ gained 14 VRS points and remained 8th, while 3DMAX also collected 14 points and stayed 31st, reflecting the strength of the opposition and the deep tournament run.

After the match, MOUZ player Dorian “xertioN” Berman admitted that the performance was far from perfect but praised his team’s resilience.

Not the cleanest game from us but super happy to win against 3DMAX! so much to take away and learn from, need to also know how to win these ones.

3DMAX did not immediately publish an official statement following their elimination, ending their BLAST Bounty Season 2 campaign in the online stage.

What’s next?

With the victory, MOUZ advance to the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals in Malta, where they will face stronger opposition in the LAN playoffs. For 3DMAX, the defeat ends another encouraging run against top-level competition, but the French side once again showed it can challenge higher-ranked opponents in big matches.
