r1nkle became the worst AWP player by duels at tier-1

AWP duel statistics at major tournaments in 2026 showed an unexpected contrast among snipers from top-15 teams. Artem “r1nkle” Moroz ended up at the very bottom by AWP Duel Swing, while SunPayus, who is having a much less noticeable season, rose to sixth place by this metric.

r1nkle ended up below everyone

On the graph, r1nkle takes approximately 0.54 AWP duels per round, but his Duel Swing is around -40%. Among the presented main snipers, this is the worst result, and the gap from most competitors is quite noticeable.

This means that r1nkle’s AWP activity itself is not low — he regularly enters sniper duels. The problem lies specifically in their efficiency: compared to other tier-1 AWP players, these contacts end in his favor much less often.

m0NESY and molodoy are far ahead

On the opposite side of the graph are m0NESY and molodoy. They not only take AWP duels more often — approximately 0.67–0.69 per round — but also have a very high positive Duel Swing.

m0NESY’s figure exceeds 50%, while molodoy is around 40%. This is a good example of how high activity can be combined with efficiency: both do not avoid sniper contacts and at the same time consistently gain an advantage from them.

ZywOo also stands out with efficiency

ZywOo is closer to the middle in terms of the number of AWP duels — approximately 0.55 per round, but his Duel Swing exceeds 50%. In other words, the Frenchman does not enter such contacts as often as m0NESY, but converts them with extremely high efficiency.

This once again shows the difference between volume and quality. A large number of AWP duels does not by itself make a sniper effective — what matters is how often the team gains a real advantage after these clashes.

SunPayus is unexpectedly holding high

One of the most interesting results was SunPayus. The Spaniard takes approximately 0.55 AWP duels per round and has a positive Duel Swing of around 20%, which allows him to be roughly in sixth place among snipers.

Against the background of the general perception of his season, this is quite a telling result. Even if SunPayus is not among the main stars of 2026 by overall statistics, he remains fairly effective specifically in direct AWP duels.

sh1ro is also consistently in the positive

sh1ro is placed even higher than SunPayus: approximately 0.60 AWP duels per round and almost 30% positive Duel Swing. His position fits well with his reputation as one of the most stable snipers at the top level.

At the same time, sh1ro is closer to the balance between m0NESY’s activity and ZywOo’s selectiveness. He enters a fairly large number of duels, but still maintains a noticeable advantage over opponents.

For r1nkle, this is a worrying metric

On its own, this statistic does not make r1nkle a weak player overall — AWP Duel Swing shows only one specific part of the game. The result is affected by positions, team style, opponents, and the situations in which the sniper is forced to take a duel.

But the gap from other main AWP players still looks too large to ignore. If r1nkle wants to close the distance to the strongest tier-1 snipers, efficiency in direct AWP duels is clearly one of the areas where he can improve the most.
